Flight Dynamics
Our flight dynamics engineering and operating services at ESOC cover the entire space mission lifecycle.
- Mission design support – we provide guidance on mission system testing, mission operations preparations (including support of simulator campaigns) and implementation of flight dynamics systems, such as contributing to the development of the new General Orbit Determination and Optimisation Toolkit (Godot).
- Flying missions – the team supports all critical operations including LEOP, commissioning, swing by, aerobraking and others, as well as routine operations including orbit maintenance, platform maintenance, science planning and execution.
