07 July 2022

Telespazio Germany is part of a consortium of 19 companies, led by Leonardo, that will design and develop the European Space Agency's (ESA new project, Cyber-Security Operations Centre (C-SOC)

C-SOC is core part of the ESA Cyber Security Strategy and represents a scalable, key security infrastructure that increases the resilience of ESA assets and corporate and space system infrastructure. C-SOC offers protection from cyber and security threats and improves security for the ESA, its missions, Member States, and partners.

With our expertise in numerous areas, from Mission and Ground Segment Engineering and Operations to our knowledge of the state-of-the-art security operations, frameworks and technologies implemented at ESA, Telespazio Germany has been tapped to lead the German contribution to the C-SOC project. Our primary focus will be on the development and implementation activities related to the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt, Germany. We will also be coordinating with all of the project partners, ESA’s European Space Security and Education Centre (ESEC) in Redu, Belgium, and the European Centre of Earth Observation (ESRIN) in Italy.
